Middlesex Panthers' T20 Blast clash with Gloucestershire at Lord's tonight has been abandoned due to rain.
The Panthers were about to take the crease for their innings when adverse weather began to wreak havoc on the playing conditions in London, before the umpires deemed the field unplayable.
Gloucestershire had struggled during their overs and registered a modest target of 105 - their lowest of the competition thus far.
James Harris was in fine form early on as the right-hander took two wickets to dismiss the Gladiators' opening pair of Christopher Dent (3) and Alex Gidman (0) within nine balls.
Harry Podmore proved even more of a menace for Gloucestershire's batters, taking three wickets to send Hamish Marshall (2), Benny Howell (39) and Adam Rouse (4) out of the match.
In consequence of the abandonment, Middlesex remain with one victory in their T20 blast campaign thus far.
