England's bowlers struggle on day one of their three-day Ashes warm-up clash against Western Australia, who finish the session on 369-4.

England's bowlers have struggled in the opening day of their Ashes warm-up match against Western Australia in Perth as their opponents reach stumps on 369-4.

James Anderson, Boyd Rankin, Joe Root and Ben Stokes managed to grab a wicket apiece during Western Australia's first innings, but Steven Finn finished the day on figures of 0-87 off 18 overs.

Chris Lynn managed to reach his century at the crease before falling to Rankin four runs later, while Luke Towers (77), Marcus Harris (69) and Mitchell Marsh (58) contributed with steady stints.

Jim Allenby and Ashton Turner remain unbeaten on 34 and 17 runs respectively.
