Luke Wright has admitted that he is desperate to impress for England when he's given the opportunity in the limited-overs series in the West Indies.
The Sussex all-rounder joined up with the England team in Australia earlier this winter but he failed to inspire an improvement in form, contributing just 17 runs in a 3-0 Twenty20 series defeat.
"I'd watched (the Tests and ODIs) the whole way through and seen how disappointingly we'd played, and I felt in great nick from the Big Bash going into it and had played well against all the bowlers I was going to face for Australia," Wright told reporters
"To then not do it was the most frustrated I've probably been in my career.
"It was so annoying and disappointing to come away from that performing badly - I've got to put that right."
England face the West Indies in the first One-Day International on Friday.
