England batsman Jonathan Trott is poised to make his return to cricket on Tuesday after taking four months away from the game due to a "stress-related" illness.
The 32-year-old left England's disastrous Ashes tour to Australia this winter and has since revealed that he was suffering from "burnout, but not depression".
His county, Warwickshire, allowed him to sit out of their pre-season tour of Barbados to enjoy a family holiday.
They are now continuing their preparations for the new campaign with a two-day friendly against Gloucestershire at Edgbaston on Tuesday, and Trott has been included in their 12-man squad.
Since debuting in 2009, Trott has scored 3763 runs at an average of 46.45 in a 49-match Test career.
