Despite suffering another defeat on Wednesday in Bangladesh, James Tredwell has claimed that England are going in the right direction ahead of the World Twenty20.
England lost their second warm-up match in as many days as India eased to a 20-run win in Dhaka, but Tredwell believes that there are some positives for the team to focus on following their latest disappointment in the shortest format of the game.
"I think we'd like this result to have gone our way but there were a lot more positives from this game than the last one," the spinner suggested after the defeat.
"We're on the right track I guess as we head to Chittagong and prepare for the first game.
"If we continue that work ethic and look to improve our skills hopefully the right things will happen for us in the tournament."
England begin their World T20 campaign against New Zealand in Chittagong on Saturday.
