Surrey bowler Tom Curran has been handed a spot in the England Performance Programme (EPP) after his impressive form in the County Championship.
Curran finished the first-class season with 76 wickets as Surrey claimed the Division Two title and the selectors have responded by calling up the South Africa-born seamer, who will qualify to play for England at the end of next month.
"It's great news that Tom has been recognised by the ECB for his efforts this season," Surrey director of cricket Alec Stewart told BBC Sport.
"The huge potential and skill levels he possesses, I'm sure will see him wearing an England shirt in the near future"
Curran will join the other bowlers in the EPP for a 10-day training camp in South Africa before meeting the batsmen and spinners in Dubai for more sessions.
