Kevin Pietersen aims to continue playing for England until 2015

England batsman Kevin Pietersen says that he will continue playing until at least 2015 if fitness allows.

England batsman Kevin Pietersen has admitted that he wants to continue representing his country until at least 2015.

The 33-year-old has been amid speculation that he could retire at the end of the Ashes series in Australia due to a persistent knee injury.

However, the prolific batsman, who will play in his 100th Test match in Brisbane on Thursday, is eyeing the 2015-16 tour of South Africa.

"As long as the body goes well, I'm good for it," Pietersen told BBC Sport.

"I had coffee with [England one-day coach] Ashley Giles and said to him, 'I want to be with you in 2015'."

Pietersen has featured in four Ashes series wins since making his international debut in 2004.
