Eoin Morgan says that England must learn from their previous one-day tour of India ahead of Saturday's third ODI.

Eoin Morgan has said that England can learn from their previous one-day tour of India as they seek to retake the lead in the current series.

England lost 5-0 in India in October 2011, a series Morgan missed through injury. The current series is level at 1-1 following India's 127-run victory in Kochi on Tuesday.

"The only blip we have had since Alastair [Cook] took over as captain was the last trip we had here and we learnt a lot of lessons from that," Morgan told reporters in Ranchi.

"When we were here last we went away from our principles of taking the emotion out of the game and concentrating on what we do best - concentrating on us as a team and our strengths and not getting distracted by other things.

"It is certainly different to what we are used to playing back in England."

The third game of the one-day series will take place in Ranchi on Saturday.
