Eoin Morgan: 'We will not change approach'

Eoin Morgan insists that England will maintain their attacking mindset, despite losing to New Zealand by three wickets in Southampton on Sunday.

England captain Eoin Morgan has insisted that the team will continue with their new attacking approach, despite losing to New Zealand on Sunday.

The Black Caps bowled England out for 302 before going on to secure a three-wicket win at the Ageas Bowl in the third match of the one-day series.

"We could have batted 50 overs, got 250 and I would have been very furious," Morgan told BBC Sport. "I was happy we scored 300 in the manner that we did and want to continue playing with that attacking mindset.

"There's a bigger picture here, we've a lot of young guys. Because we're changing the mindset, it will take longer than one series to do so.

"We'll maintain that through this series and the rest of the summer. We're competing and we've won one game so far, which is a big bonus for us."

New Zealand lead the five-match series 2-1.
