Stuart Broad has confirmed that he will miss the rest of England's Twenty20 international series against West Indies with a condition know as 'jumper's knee'.
However, England's captain, who played in the 27-run defeat on Sunday, insists that he will be ready for the World Twenty20.
"It [the knee] just gets a bit stiffer and stiffer, and I caught my knee in the ground in Antigua during the last one-dayer, and it just swelled up," Broad told Sky Sports News.
"I struggled to move it a little bit so I won't be playing the next two T20s. I'll have a bit of treatment, definitely get an injection in to make sure it's okay for the World Cup.
"I should be okay, assuming the injection works, which generally they do. I've probably had four or five in that right knee now so you've got to be a little bit careful."
The second match in the series is on Tuesday.
