Trevor Bayliss: 'England must focus solely on New Zealand game'

England coach Trevor Bayliss urges his players not to be distracted by "outside influences" as they get ready to take on New Zealand in the World T20 semi-finals.

England coach Trevor Bayliss has warned his players that they cannot afford to be "distracted by outside influences" when they take on New Zealand on Wednesday.

The Three Lions play in Delhi for third time in this tournament, but the Kiwis are yet to suffer defeat and Bayliss has urged his squad to only think about trying to beat the Black Caps.

He told the ECB's official website: "We've got to win the next game and our concentration will be on that solely. We will not change anything, it's still another game of cricket.

"The boys will know that the opportunities are there for us but if we get distracted by outside influences, or what's going on around us, we won't play well.

"We've got to concentrate on going out there and doing what we've done so far. If we play good cricket we've a chance to win."

The other semi-final will see hosts India take on the West Indies in Mumbai on Thursday.
