England bowler James Anderson has admitted that it was a "surreal" feeling to take his 400th Test wicket.
The 32-year-old became the 12th player in the history of the game to pass the milestone when he snagged the wicket of Martin Guptill at Headingley on day one of the second Test against New Zealand.
"It's a nice feeling, a proud moment for me, I guess," Anderson told Sky Sports News.
"I don't know what else to say, it feels a bit surreal when you see the list up on the TV with all the guys who've got 400 in the past."
Anderson passed Sir Ian Botham's record for the most Test wickets taken by an England bowler earlier this year.
