James Anderson has admitted that England must "bat very well" to stand any chance of winning the third and final Test against Pakistan.
Travelling England, who trail 1-0 in the series, will resume day five tomorrow morning on 46-2, which is 238 runs short of their victory target.
When asked by Sky Sports News to assess his side's prospects, Anderson insisted that the team must bat in a positive manner.
"There's a chance [of winning], definitely. We are going to have to bat very well. It will be difficult on a fifth-day pitch," said the bowler.
"We have played well this series and don't want to leave with nothing. We saw the way Pakistan batted in their second innings and they were positive."
A win for England would mark their biggest ever run chase against an Asian side.
