England captain Andrew Strauss warns his team against complacency ahead of the fourth Test against India at the Oval.

Andrew Strauss has warned his England side against complacency ahead of the fourth and final Test match against India at the Oval.

England have taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series to become the number one ranked Test side in the world.

However, Strauss is wary of the threat posed by India and he wants his side to be as clinical as they were during the 2010/11 Ashes series in Australia.

"There's always that danger of taking our foot off the gas, but I hope and expect we won't fall into that trap," said the England captain.

"I think we had a similar situation in Australia last year, and reacted really well in Sydney - and used the confidence that we'd gained in the course of that series to underline and highlight the good things that we'd done.

"That allowed us to repeat them, and it's certainly what we're trying to do this week."

The Oval Test match is the last of the English summer ahead of the one-day international series with India, which starts on Wednesday, August 31.
