Steven Finn has claimed that England will thrive under pressure ahead of their World Cup clash with Sri Lanka on Sunday.
England are currently sixth in Pool A with one win from their opening three games, and Finn has urged his teammates to approach the game in Wellington with confidence as they look to pick up a potentially crucial victory in the bid to reach the quarter-finals.
"We got beat by Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka so it's important we go out there and try to stamp our authority in conditions that should favour us," the 25-year-old seamer is quoted as saying by The Mirror.
"It's very important for us and these three games are almost each like a quarter-final, but we thrive on that sort of pressure and I think hopefully it will bring the best out of us."
Sri Lanka warmed up for the game against England with a 96-run victory over Bangladesh in their third match.
