Steve Harmison: 'England have too much for Australia'

Steve Harmison believes that England are stronger than Australia in every department, ahead of the forthcoming Ashes series.

Steve Harmison has claimed that England are superior to Australia in all departments, ahead of the forthcoming Ashes series.

England will be looking to claim The Ashes for the fourth successive time, but Australia have been tipped to put up a strong challenge on home soil.

However, former England bowler Harmison believes that the hosts do not possess enough quality to win the series.

"England can comfortably win the series," he told talkSPORT.

"I think it will be 3-0 or 4-0 to be honest.

"If England get the ball in the right area with the new ball and get it moving, I do believe England have got too much in all departments for this fragile Australia side."

The first Test gets underway in Brisbane this evening.
