England go into a 93-run lead over Australia at tea on day three of the fourth Ashes Test in Durham.

England have moved into a 91-run lead over Australia at tea on day three of the fourth Ashes Test in Durham.

The hosts started the session eight runs behind on 24-1 following the loss of Joe Root before ending on 123-3.

Alastair Cook (22) and Jonathan Trott (23) were both dismissed by Ryan Harris to leave England on 49-3, before Kevin Pietersen and Ian Bell put up some resistance to get their side back on track.

Pietersen will start the final session of the day on 37, while Ian Bell will also resume on 37.
