Former England captain Michael Atherton has claimed that Australia do not have what it takes to turn the current Ashes series around.
A draw in the third Test at Old Trafford will see England retain the famous urn, while defeat for the Aussies would see them equal their worst ever run of seven straight losses.
"I don't think Australia have got what it takes to win the series - there are lots of problems within their team and I think that England are a better side, so I think it is going to be very, very difficult for Australia to win three Tests on the bounce," Atherton told Sky Sports News.
The third Test gets underway on Thursday.
