Steve Smith reaches century at lunch

Steve Smith bags another century as Australia build on their day-one domination over India by moving to 420-4 at lunch on day two of the fifth Test.

Australia have finished the morning session on 420-4 at lunch on day two of the fifth Test with India at the SCG.

The hosts suffered another two wickets in the morning session, but the Aussies added a further 72 runs to their first-innings total after finishing day four on 348-2.

Steve Smith continued to impress as the stand-in captain secured his fourth century of the series before being removed by Umesh Yadav on 117.

Shane Watson had earlier gone for 81 courtesy of a Mohammed Shami wicket.

Shaun Marsh (14*) and Joe Burns (0*) remain in play as Australia - who lead the series 2-0 - look to build on their 420 in the teatime session.
