Australia wrap up series victory after West Indies collapse

Australia wrap up a 2-0 series victory with a 277-run win over the West Indies in Jamaica.

Australia continued their preparations for the Ashes, which gets underway next month, with a 277-run victory against West Indies in the second Test.

The tourists had set the hosts an improbable 392 to win at Sabina Park after fifties from Shaun Marsh, David Warner and the in-form Steve Smith helped them declare on 212-2.

Michael Clarke's men then reduced the Windies to 72-7 by lunch on day four as Mitchell Starc (3-34) and Josh Hazlewood (2-18) ripped through the home team's top order.

Soon after lunch, captain Dinesh Ramdin (29) fell to Mitchell Johnson (2-23) before Nathan Lyon (2-12) wrapped up the tail, and a series victory with two wickets in two balls.

The Australians are due to fly from Jamaica to England on Wednesday to resume their preparations for the five-Test series, which gets underway on July 8 in Cardiff.
