Australia captain Michael Clarke has reportedly decided to bring an end to his career at the end of the current Ashes series.
The 34-year-old, who began his international career in 2004, has struggled for form during his side's tour of England, scoring just 117 runs from eight innings.
Ahead of the fourth Test, which is currently taking place at Trent Bridge, Clarke's place in the side had been questioned, but with Australia likely to lose The Ashes to England on Saturday, a decision has reportedly been made on his future.
Cricket Australia have refused to comment on speculation, which has been reported by both Sky Sports News and The Australian, but it appears likely that Clarke, who has scored 8605 runs from 114 matches, will step down from his position as captain.
