Great Britain's Antony Fowler has acknowledged that he was "beaten by the better man" as he lost out to Zhanibek Alimkhanuly at the Olympic Games.
The middleweight had been handed a tricky draw against the 2013 world champion and he was outclassed by the Kazakh puncher, who floored him during a comfortable win.
The defeat marks Fowler's final bout as an amateur, and he admits that the setback was not the ideal way for him to make the transition to the professional ranks.
My dream is over but i got the olympics am heartbroken but i was beaten by the better man tonight hes world class i hope he goes onto win..
