Jake Paul has announced that he will rematch Tyron Woodley on December 18 after Tommy Fury withdrew from the fight.
Reports emerged on Monday that Fury had opted to pull out of the showdown in Florida less than two weeks before its scheduled date.
However, upon confirming that the British light-heavyweight had withdrawn from the contest, Paul confirmed on social media that he would head into a second showdown with Woodley on the same date.
The pair initially met as recently as August 29, Paul emerging as the victor by split-decision after their eight-round bout in Cleveland.
Paul also announced that he would hand Woodley a $500,000 bonus if he could knock him out later this month.
Fury has since revealed that he has a "severe chest infection and broken rib", but hopes that the fight can be rescheduled next year.
