British super-featherweight Stephen Smith has claimed that he will be more suited to facing WBA champion Jason Sosa than IBF title holder Jose Pedraza.
Earlier this year, Smith slipped to a points defeat to Pedraza in the United States, but he gets his second opportunity to fight for a world crown when he meets Sosa in Monte Carlo on November 12.
The 31-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Sosa is a good, solid fighter without being spectacular in any areas but we all know in boxing, styles make fights, and I think his style will suit me.
"Pedraza was tall and rangy and looked to pick up on the slightest mistake but Sosa is short, can punch and will be looking for the big shots.
"This is the sort of fight I like and that suits me and one I can definitely win."
The bout is part of a huge bill which also includes Jamie McDonnell, Martin Murray and new Matchroom Sport signing Luis Ortiz.
