David Price eager to set up bouts with British rivals

David Price reveals that he wants to meet Dereck Chisora or Tyson Fury soon, while he would also be open to facing Anthony Joshua.

Former British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion David Price has revealed that he intends to meet a fellow Brit in 2015.

Price is scheduled to make his return from a hand injury against a European rival in December, but he is hoping to take a step up against Tyson Fury, Dereck Chisora or Anthony Joshua.

Fury and Chisora will meet in a WBO title eliminator next month for the right to face Wladimir Klitschko, while Joshua's representatives recently suggested that their client would be open to meeting Price in the ring.

"I'm hoping for a big domestic fight against Tyson Fury," the 31-year-old told BBC Sport. "It's definitely a fight that I want.

"The fact is, whoever wins that fight is going to have to wait a while for a shot at Klitschko. But would they take a chance of fighting someone like me in between? We'll soon find out.

"If Eddie Hearn and Matchroom want to stick to their guns by saying they want me to fight Anthony Joshua, then that's a very interesting fight as well."

Price's most recent fight ended in a unanimous points victory over Yaroslav Zavorotnyi.
