Marcos Maidana has revealed that a rematch with Adrien Broner is a possibility for the future.
In December 2013, Maidana inflicted the first loss of Broner's career to win the WBA welterweight title, and the Argentine has admitted that he would be open to facing the brash American for a second time, potentially at the end of 2015.
The 31-year-old told World Boxing News: "A rematch with Broner is fine. He's a nice guy and he's probably trying to push for revenge which is a good thing, but I've never said I wouldn't fight him again.
"After I beat him before, they asked me about an immediate rematch, but I said I have beaten him fair and square and only that I deserve to fight Floyd Mayweather, which was a logical thing. I never ruled out another fight and facing Adrien again is always a possibility for me."
Maidana hasn't fought since suffering his second successive defeat to Floyd Mayweather Jr last September.
