Wladimir Klitschko eyeing Deontay Wilder bout

Unified world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko admits that he is eyeing a future showdown with WBC title holder Deontay Wilder.

Unified world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has revealed that he is keen to face WBC title holder Deontay Wilder later in 2015.

Klitschko is currently preparing to fight Bryant Jennings in his first appearance in the United States for seven years, but the Ukrainian, who hasn't suffered defeat since 2004, is hoping to secure a blockbuster showdown with the knockout specialist.

At a press conference, the 38-year-old said: "We need to do it and we have to do it. There is certainly a reason why I'm back here and why I'm fighting on US television live on US soil.

"Wilder is the most valuable opponent for me to fight and the price is the title that he has."

Wilder won the WBC belt last month when he defeated Bermane Stiverne on points in Las Vegas.
