Amir Khan welcomes potential Manny Pacquiao fight

Amir Khan says that he would welcome a fight with his "friend" Manny Pacquiao.

Amir Khan has revealed that he would be interested in a fight with Manny Pacquiao despite their friendship.

The 27-year-old has previously shared the services of trainer Freddie Roach with the Filipino, and the duo have sparred on occasion, but Khan has said that he would be happy to sign up for a clash with the former pound-for-pound king.

He told the Daily Mail: "I'd fight Manny, look, it's business. We are friends and respect each other, but I would definitely consider the fight, and I am sure he would too.

"To bring it to Dubai, too, that would be huge. I am ready for whatever. Have I ever turned down a fight? Never. I fight whoever is put in front of me."

Khan was victorious in his last bout against Julio Diaz back in April.
