Amir Khan has said that Floyd Mayweather Jnr will see off the threat of Saul Alvarez when the two square off on September 14.
Mayweather will fight the Mexican in Las Vegas and Khan believes that the unbeaten 'Money' will keep his unblemished record intact due to 'Canelo' Alvarez's shortcomings.
"I pick Mayweather for this fight," Khan told BoxingScene.com.
"Alvarez is so flat-footed, Mayweather will be able to get away from him and his hand speed will be a big factor. Mayweather fights guys who come forward, he likes fighting that type of fighter, so he's gone for the easier fight in Alvarez."
Both Alvarez and Mayweather were victorious in their last fights over Austin Trout and Robert Guerrero respectively and Khan believes that a win in his next clash against Devon Alexander will lead to a bout with Mayweather.
