Anthony Joshua expects "busy" performance from Denis Bakhtov

British heavyweight Anthony Joshua expects opponent Denis Bakhtov to produce a "busy" performance when the two fight for the WBC international title on Saturday night.

British heavyweight Anthony Joshua has revealed that he expects to have to work hard to defeat Denis Bakhtov at London's O2 Arena on Saturday night.

The two fighters are competing for the vacant WBC international title, and Joshua believes that he is in for his toughest fight to date having never been taken past three rounds in his professional career.

The 24-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "Bakhtov is a lot busier than my last opponent. I look at him the same as I looked at Matt Legg, one of my previous opponents, just with a lot more experience.

"Legg came out with a lot of hooks and gave it a go. Bakhtov can take punches for fun, and he'll be looking to get to me. Hopefully, he'll be the one eating a lot of shots. I have to get the win really. Simple as that."

The event in East London also features Lee Selby's IBF featherweight eliminator with Joel Brunker.
