Eddie Hearn confirms plans for Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua

Promoter Eddie Hearn confirms that plans are in place to set up a bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed that plans are underway to organise a bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury for next summer.

Joshua's camp are reportedly eager to see him take on more challenging opponents in 2015 after the Olympic champion raced to 10 fights unbeaten in comfortable fashion.

Fury, who beat Dereck Chisora in London last weekend, is currently the mandatory challenger to Wladimir Klitschko's WBO heavyweight title, but Hearn is ready to offer him an alternative should the Ukrainian champion attempt to avoid a fight.

"Tyson Fury is on the horizon for next summer," Hearn revealed in his Daily Mail column.

"We are moving towards the inevitable, which is a fight with Fury and the other top domestic fighters. It's going to be great times for British boxing.

"People ask if AJ is ready to fight Fury but, to be honest, is Fury ready to fight AJ? I believe this is a fight that will bring both men to new levels in terms of financial rewards. It's a numbers game and these numbers add up."

Fury has won all 23 of his professional bouts.
