David Haye has claimed that a possible fight with Vitali Klitschko is 'not about the money'.

The Brit has said that he wants to fight the Ukrainian after losing to his brother Wladimir in July.

Haye was prepared to hang up his gloves for good after the defeat, before going back on his word by suggesting that one last fight could take place, but only against the elder Klitschko brother.

"It's not about money for me," the 30-year-old told The Daily Telegraph.

"I know I underachieved against Wladimir. I wasn't firing on all cylinders, for whatever reason. It wasn't the real me in there, and you always want to go out showing everybody what you really have. So if I go out there and give 100%.

"I know I have a good chance of beating Vitali. I'd still fight Wladimir again, too. Vitali and Wladimir are the only two fights on the planet I would break my retirement plans for."

In a career spanning 27 fights, Haye has won 25 encounters, with 23 of those wins coming via knockout.
