David Haye: 'Tyson Fury must produce perfect performance'

Former heavyweight champion David Haye feels that Tyson Fury must produce the perfect performance to dethrone Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf on Saturday night.

David Haye has suggested that Tyson Fury must be "tactically perfect" in order to beat world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Fury is a big outsider to dethrone Klitschko, who has been at the top of the division since 2006, but while Haye feels that Klitschko will emerge victorious, he has not ruled out a surprise triumph for the challenger.

The 35-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Tactically, Fury needs to be perfect. He can't get stuck into a jabbing contest because Klitschko is the master of jabbing. Tyson has slow feet and he bounces slowly.

"He will have to use his height advantage. Klitschko is not used to be dealing with men bigger than him. Fury needs to get through those menacing straight punches. It will be a hard night's work.

"It will be interesting though because when you've got big guys throwing big bombs, anything can happen."

Haye suffered defeat to Klitschko by unanimous decision in Hamburg in 2011.
