Tyson Fury has finally had an opponent confirmed for his fight at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast on Saturday, December 1.
The unbeaten heavyweight will face former world-title challenger Kevin 'Kingpin' Johnson in less than three weeks' time.
American contender Johnson took WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko the distance three years ago and suffered his only other defeat in a Prizefighter tournament earlier this year.
Fury believes that Johnson represents the step up in class he needs to prove his capabilities on the world stage.
He said: "Johnson is just the kind of opponent that I want at this stage of my career.
"We needed a world class fighter and we have got one and when I take him apart the world will sit up and take notice.
"I'm not going around getting opponents out of graveyards, fighting guys well past their best like some other heavyweights in Britain, I'm taking on Kevin Johnson who has fought for a major world title and I'm really looking forward to the fight."
Fury was originally scheduled to meet unbeaten Russian Denis Boytsov but he withdrew from the bout last week citing a lack of preparation time.
