Oscar de la Hoya has urged Manny Pacquiao to accept a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jnr.
The head of Golden Boy Promotions has said that the unbeaten American is looking to fight twice more after his May 5 date with Miguel Cotto.
De la Hoya, who was beaten on a split decision by Mayweather in 2007, is now working to promote the 34-year-old.
"We have just finalised Floyd Mayweather vs. Miguel Cotto for May 5 so we are excited about that," said De La Hoya.
"He will be fighting I believe three times this year, so he is excited and I am happy to be working with him. We are just trying to make the big fights happen.
"Hopefully we can nail down the Pacquiao fight real soon. Pacquiao just has to agree to fight because Mayweather wants to fight him."
Mayweather recently failed in a big to arrange a fight with Pacquiao over social media side Twitter.
