Dereck Chisora has won the vacant European heavyweight title after stopping Edmund Gerber last night.
The 29-year-old still hopes for another world title shot, having lost to Vitali Klitschko in 2012.
The Londoner then lost to David Haye before three consecutive stoppages, including tonight's title win, have revived his career.
Chisora out-boxed his opponent in the first three rounds. He weathered a fightback in the fourth before putting the contest to bed with a series of combinations in the fifth round.
"I've been training every day," Chisora told BBC Sport. "I told my team I'm going to give myself three years in this game, training every day.
"I've woken up. My mum told me to either do it seriously or stop. So now I'm going to do this seriously."
Chisora improved his record to 18 wins and four losses.
