The British Boxing Board of Control will ask Dereck Chisora to explain his conduct during his recent brawl with David Haye next month.

Dereck Chisora has been ordered to appear before the British Boxing Board of Control next month.

The 28-year-old will be asked to explain his conduct during his brawl with fellow British boxer David Haye in Munich on Saturday night.

The incident, which took place at the post-fight press conference following Chisora's loss to Vitali Klitschko, saw the two men go head-to-head before punches were thrown.

Chisora, who released a statement earlier today admitting that he regrets his part in the fight, could lose his boxing license if the BBBofC find his actions to have been detrimental to British boxing.

Haye is not currently answerable to the BBBofC because he does not hold a license.

Chisora has been called to meet with the BBBofC on Wednesday, March 14.
