Former super-middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe has predicted that Amir Khan will prevail in his unification bout with Danny Garcia on Sunday.
The WBA light-welterweight title will now be on the line along with the WBC belt after Khan was reinstated as the champion on Wednesday.
Calzaghe believes that the Bolton-born fighter will be too much for his American opponent when they go up against each other in Las Vegas.
"I think it's a good opportunity for Khan," the Welshman told Sky Sports News. "His speed is the thing - if uses his fast hands I think he should win.
"Garcia has good pedigree. He is a good fighter, undefeated and can punch, but I watched him against old-age [Erik] Morales and I thought he struggled."
Calzaghe retired from the sport in 2009 with a 46-fight unbeaten record.
