Defending champion Roberto Cammarelle has claimed that he will beat Great Britain's Anthony Joshua when they meet in Sunday's Olympic super heavyweight final.

Cammarelle defeated Azerbaijan's Magomedrasul Medzhidov while Joshua edged out Kazakhstan's Ivan Dychko in Friday's semi-finals.

"I anticipated that my final opponent would by Joshua," said Cammarelle. "We met in the World Championships and he beat me deservedly. This time I will beat him."

Joshua is bidding to become Britain's first Olympic champion in the super heavyweight category since Audley Harrison triumped at Sydney in 2000.
