Ireland's Katie Taylor expecting "tough" Estelle Mossely fight

Katie Taylor acknowledges that if she is to claim gold at the European Games then she must produce her best showing in order to overcome Estelle Mossely.

Ireland gold-medal boxing hopeful Katie Taylor has predicted a "tough fight" against Estelle Mossely in Saturday's European Games lightweight final.

The 28-year-old beat home participant Yana Alekseevna on a split-points decision earlier today to keep her hopes of Baku glory alive.

Taylor must now overcome French boxer Mossely in order to secure top spot on the podium for Ireland, but she admits that it will not be an easy task.

"I've boxed her a few times," the 2012 Olympic gold medallist told reporters. "I'll have a word with my dad (Peter Taylor) about the fight. It's going to be a tough fight."

Mossely beat Germany's Tasheena Bugar to secure her place in the Crystal Hall final.
