Cuba's Roniel Iglesias has seen off Italy's Vincenzo Mangiacapre to advance into the gold medal bout of the light welterweight tournament.
Mangiacapre was moving keenly in the early stages, moving well from the waist to make the Cuban miss repeatedly. However, he still fell 3-2 behind after the first round.
Iglesias was the man pressing the action, but he was still finding the Italian a tough target to nail down. His greater work rate saw him land with a few shots to extend his advantage to four points.
The Cuban found some accuracy in the final round as Mangiacapre was forced to come forward and ran out a comfortable 15-8 winner.
