Marco Belinelli hit a jumper with 2.1 seconds remaining to seal a 95-93 victory for the San Antonio Spurs as five-time champion coach Gregg Popovich reached 1,000 career wins.

San Antonio were down by 14 after the third quarter, but rallied in the fourth at Bankers Life Fieldhouse to improve to 33-19.

The Los Angeles Clippers ended their four-game losing streak with a convincing 115-98 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

Dallas lost both Tyson Chandler and Monta Ellis to injuries early and DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul took advantage. Jordan had 22 points and a career-high 27 rebounds, while Paul put up 25 points and 13 assists.

Kevin Durant scored 40 points on 13-19 shooting as the Oklahoma City Thunder closed in on the Western Conference playoffs with a 124-114 win over the Denver Nuggets.

The reigning MVP hit several tough shots and matched a career-high seven three-pointers as the Nuggets lost their sixth game in a row.

The Eastern Conference-leading Atlanta Hawks got back to winning ways with a 117-105 triumph over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Atlanta were led by Al Horford's season-high 28 points and a career-high 26 for DeMarre Carroll as they improved to 43-10.

Chris Bosh led the Miami Heat to a 109-95 win over the New York Knicks - the Heat's first win in four games.

Bosh had 32 points as New York, the team with the worst record in the league, lost top-scorer Carmelo Anthony to knee soreness in the fourth quarter.

The Philadelphia 76ers saw their home winning streak end at four games as the Golden State Warriors won their 41st game of the season.

Philadelphia have now lost as many games as the Warriors have won in 2014-15, with Stephen Curry top-scoring for the visitors with 20 points.

At Smoothie King Center, Gordon Hayward and Eric Gordon went toe to toe as the Utah Jazz edged out the New Orleans Pelicans 100-96.

Hayward top-scored with 32 for the Jazz, while Gordon matched a career high by making seven of eight three-point attempts to finish with 31.

The Orlando Magic have lost eight straight games against the Washington Wizards after falling to an 96-80 at Verizon Center.

Washington's bench combined for 46 points, while All-Star point-guard John Wall was one point shy of a triple-double (nine points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists).

The Milwaukee Bucks recorded their fifth home win in a row by defeating the Brooklyn Nets 103-97.

The Bucks were down by as many as 17 at one point, but Jared Dudley's 19 points helped them rally to a six-point win.
