The Phoenix Suns are reportedly confident that point guard Eric Bledsoe will re-sign with the team despite being one of the most talented free agents remaining in the market.
The 24-year-old was offered a four-year deal but wants a maximum five-year contract and so negotiations are expected to continue.
However, Suns president of basketball operations Lon Babby has revealed that he expects Bledsoe to stay with Phoenix, ESPN reports.
Bledsoe averaged career highs of 17.7 points, 5.5 assists and 4.7 rebounds last season in his first year with the Suns, and as a result the organisation is adamant on re-signing him.
