Erik Spoelstra: Miami Heat "outclassed" by Oklahoma City Thunder

Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra says that his side were "outclassed" by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Erik Spoelstra has said that the Miami Heat were "outclassed" in their defeat to the Oklahoma City Thunder last night.

The defending NBA champions lost 112-95 to the Western Conference leaders, with forward Kevin Durant scoring over 30 points for the 12th game in a row.

The coach told reporters: "There's no running away from it. Other than the first eight minutes of the game they outclassed us tonight. They absolutely deserved this win.

"We have some work to do. We're like everybody else in the league. Nobody is infallible. We have some things to improve on. We know the things we have to improve on. We're not there yet."

The result leaves Miami with a 32-13 record this season.
