New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony has insisted that his team needs to start believing in themselves in order to turn things around.
The Knicks have started slowly so far this season and have slipped to a 1-3 record, but Anthony remains confident that they can improve.
"We've got to want it, we've got to want to do it. We've got to believe in ourselves, and right now we're playing like we don't even believe in ourselves. It's just effort," he said, according to ESPN.
The 29-year-old also pinpointed turnovers as a problem area, with the Knicks turning the ball over 16.8 times per game.
