Anthony Davis has insisted that he is not concerned about whether he will be selected for the All-Star team in February.
The 20-year-old was not picked as a Western Conference starter last week but could still be named as reserve by the NBA coaches.
However, Davis claims that he is only focused on leading the New Orleans Pelicans to success following the 100-92 victory over the Orlando Magic on Sunday.
"I'm not really worried about that. I'm worried about winning," Davis told reporters when asked about his All-Star aspirations.
"We know we're not where we want to be record-wise. That's what we've got to focus on, what I've got to focus on.
"If it happens, it happens, but I'm trying to get more wins for the team."
Davis scored 22 points and recorded 19 rebounds in the triumph over the Magic.
