Brandan Wright came back from injury to score 20 points and help lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 106-93 win over the Milwaukee Bucks at the American Airlines Arena.
The hosts were missing a number of key men, including second-leading scorer Dirk Nowitzki and head coach Rick Carlisle, but were able to rely on an impressive first-quarter performance that saw them notch six three-pointers to take a 12-point lead.
The lead was to prove impenetrable as the Bucks were unable to reduce it into single figures at any point from the second quarter onwards, despite a bright performance from rookie Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Mavericks are third in the Southwest Division with a record of 14-10 for the season.
