Dwyane Wade has agreed a new one-year deal with the Miami Heat to end the speculation surrounding his future.
The 11-time All-Star was believed to be attracting interest from a number of teams after opting to enter free agency earlier this week, but he has committed to a 13th season by signing a contract which is reported to be worth $20m (£12.8m).
"It has been an honour and a privilege to play with the Miami Heat the past 12 years," Wade said in a statement.
"The Heat family and I have shared incredible moments over the years, and I look forward to continuing our journey. I am extremely proud of my personal contributions in helping to build the Heat franchise and for bringing three NBA championship wins to our great city."
Wade's decision to extend his stay in Miami comes after Goran Dragic signed a five-year deal with the team at the weekend and Luol Deng opted into the final year of his contract.
