The Golden State Warriors extended their winning streak in the NBA to 10 games with a one-point victory over the Orlando Magic.

The home side appeared to be pulling away early on, but the Magic got back into the game with a run of points after the break, before Stephen Curry put the Warriors back in front with a three-pointer just over two seconds from the end of the game.

The Cleveland Cavaliers made it four wins in a row with a narrow victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

The sides remained close in the second period, but Monta Ellis made three free throws in the final moments to secure the win for Dallas.

The Los Angeles Lakers wrapped up just their fifth win of the season, beating the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

There was little between the two sides in the first half, but Kobe Bryant ensured that the Lakers pulled away in the third quarter, adding 12 points in a row after the break.

The Brooklyn Nets beat their city rivals the New York Knicks for the second time this season, despite a strong finish from the hosts.

Brook Lopez helped open up a big lead for the visitors, but Carmelo Anthony got the Knicks back into the game, before missing a potentially game-tying three-pointer late on.

The Portland Trail Blazers finished strongly to edge past the Denver Nuggets to move to a 14-4 record so far this season.

Ty Lawson led the home side to a lead before half time, but LaMarcus Aldridge brought the Blazers back into contention, finishing the game with 39, before Robin Lopez added the winning basket with 1.3 seconds remaining.

The Phoenix Suns cruised to a comfortable win over the Indiana Pacers to secure their fourth straight win.
