The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed a deal to sign forward Ed Davis, according to a report in the press.
A source close to the deal told The AP that the former Memphis Grizzlies man will sign a two-year contract worth $2m (£1.1m).
It is thought that Memphis sought to ship Davis out having recently brought in Jordan Hill, while also drafting Kentucky's Julius Randle last month.
The deal is rumoured to include a player option for the second season of the forward's term at LA.
